My name is Bill Kearney. I am a high school science teacher and an outdoors enthusiast. One of my colleagues introduced me to metal detecting during my first few years as a geology and earth science teacher. I loved it! I have found a lot of interesting and almost valuable items the years, but most importantly, the experience has made me a much better teacher.
I created this site on the encouragement of some of the members of the Detector Club at our school. They said I need to share my knowledge with the world.
